Germoe is a village and civil parish about five miles west of Helston and seven miles east of Penzance

1875: Germoe Brass Band, through the principal streets of Camborne. (19 June 1875 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1875: St Just Rifle Corps and the Germoe Amateur Band at Breage Churchtown. (14 August 1875 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1877: Germoe Amateur Brass Band at Praa Sands. (31 August 1877 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1878: Germoe Brass Band marched in procession. (2 August 1878 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1883: “The Balwest (Germoe brass band), under Mr Bottreirs leadership, was in attendance and played variety of airs in excellent style. (13 September 1883 – Cornishman)
1883: The sticklers were Messrs T Ivey and J Peters of Breage, and Tresawna of Camborne. The Germoe Brass Band was in attendance. (14 September 1883 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
