In the 1930s Mithian had its own musical quartet providing entertainment at various venues. The singers shown in the photograph were Norman Rose, Leonard Tippett (tenor), Franklyn Ennor (base) and Hedley Roberts. The accompanying pianist was Connie Mitchell.
