Wendron was sung in St Keverne Chapel for Songs of Praise in October 1968 and was often used by St Keverne Male Voice Choir. (Terry Moyle)
Betty Pascoe states, “It was written in appreciation of local people serving in the Second World War and was a great favourite at Trewennack and always featured in our ‘Carolares’ which were gatherings of local chapel choirs for a ‘good sing’ at various venues – very popular at that time and conducted by J N Eva.”
