Written in 1969 for Cornwall Youth Brass Band.
The first public performance was in 1969 by the Cornwall Youth Brass Band conducted by Eric Ball.

2014: NIBA Championship of Ireland (Grade 4 Brass)
Eric Walter John Ball OBE (1903-1989) was a British composer, arranger and conductor of brass band music, described as “one of the most prolific writers and influential figures in the brass band and choral world”
He had a major involvement in the Cornwall Youth Brass Band.
