Circa 1995: Eight in a Bar formed as an octet.

Membership grew to eighteen

Has sung in Ireland, South Wales, taken part in the Morlaix Music Festival and competed successfully in the Bournemouth Music Festival.

2006: Placed first in the Folk Song Class at the Bournemouth Music Festival.

2009: Placed first in the Male Voice Choir Class at the Bournemouth Music Festival.

2009: Awarded the Gorsedh prize for The Best Light Music Group.

2010: Placed first in the 40 Voices and under Class at the Bournemouth Music Festival.

2010: Provided backing for a Ralph McTell recording.

2011: Gareth Churcher, Musical Director at the Cornwall International MVC Festival.

2011: Clair Churcher, Accompanist at the Cornwall International MVC Festival.

2013: Gareth Churcher, Musical Director at the Cornwall International MVC Festival.

2013: Philip Davey, Accompanist at the Cornwall International MVC Festival.
