Cornish Clay: Bernard Moore and Wilfred Sanderson
Bernard Moore was the pen-name of Samuel Syrus Hunt (1873 -1953). He lived in London but his poetry was inspired by Cornwall and Cornish culture and dialect. His work on Cornish Dialect was recognised in 1934 when he was made a bard of Gorsedh Kernow in 1934 and took the bardic name Morrep – sea verge.
