1875: Tresco Band active. (Music in the West Country by Stephen Banfield)
1895: Festive Scene at Scilly. The place was so crowded that it was with the utmost difficulty one could get near the stalls. Tresco Brass Band enlivened the proceeding, with selections at intervals. (16 May 1895 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1898: Tresco Brass Band played selections in the open air on Friday evening. (20 October 1898 – Cornishman)
