Torpoint is a civil parish and town on the Rame Peninsula opposite the city of Plymouth across the Hamoaze which is the tidal estuary of the River Tamar

1906: Mr Panter added that the gift went to the instrument fund. Mr H Olver, bandmaster of the Torpoint Band, stated that he took his band to the Liberal meeting at Torpoint in December, and was paid 30s for their services. (24 May 1906 – RCG)
