Pengelly is a hamlet in north Cornwall, part of the village of Delabole in the civil parish of St Teath.
Unknown formation date.
1864: Pengelly Brass Band active. (John Brush)
1869: A Lifeboat for Port Isaac. At Trewetha, about a mile from Port Isaac, the boat was met by a vast concourse of people in holiday costume and evergreens, expressive of joy and gladness, while the Pengelly Band in ‘Martial strains and sweet,’ gave something more than hilarity to the occasion…the Pengelly Band, of course, giving time and impetus to the onward march. (14 October 1869 – West Briton)
Unknown closure date.
