1862: Par Volunteer Brass Band kindly tendered their services, and the event was celebrated in Par. (1 August 1862 – West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser)
1870: Concert was given by several ladies and gentlemen of the neighbourhood, assisted by Par Volunteer Band. The concert was a success. (21 September 1870 – The Cornish Telegraph)
1875: The show was well attended, and the performances of the Par Artillery Band and of the village ringers appeared to be much appreciated. (7 August 1875 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1875: St Austell Wesleyan. There was a procession through the town of St Austell, headed by the Charlestown and Par Artillery Volunteer Bands and Amateur Bands from Tregony, Grampound, Mollinis, and St Dennis. (7 August 1875 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1887: A procession was formedto the strains of the Par Volunteer Band and the Tywardreath Fife and Drum Band. (1 July 1887 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1888: Tywardreath Church in commemoration of the Jubilee. Music was provided by the 5th DCAV and the Tywardreath Fife and Drum Band. (Western Daily Mercury 12th July 1888)
1892: Welcome to the Bishop of Truro at Tywardreath. Par Volunteer Band, which played on the lawn. (22 September 1892 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1900: Under Coxswain, Ashton in their cork jackets and caps. The Band of the 5th D.C.A.V. (Par), under Bandmaster Viol, and the Stenalees Band, under Mr Richards, were both in attendance. (31 May 1900 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)

1902: Par Artillery Band, marched to St Blazey and joined the children of the town. (26 June 1902 – West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser)
1902: Arches, and fixed illuminations. In the afternoon the children formed a procession headed by Par Artillery Band and the St Blazey Gate Fife and Drum Band. Instead of Coronation medals, many wore war medals. (3 July 1902 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)

Par Artillery Band never travelled far from its base and, whilst it was most popular in Tywardreath and St Blazey, it was a band that kept itself busy. (John Brush)
