New Mill is a small settlement approximately two miles north of Penzance

1856: New Mill Band was in attendance, and gave life and interest to the festival. (6 August 1856 – The Cornish Telegraph)

1860: Crowlas school was preceded by the Ludgvan Band; while Cross and Canon’s-town schools by the New Mill Band; Newtown school by Germoe Band: and Trenawin school … (27 June 1860 – The Cornish Telegraph)

1879: During the evening, the New Mill Band performed a selection of music. (8 July 1879 – The Cornish Telegraph)
