Nancledra is a village three miles south of St Ives and four miles north-northeast of Penzance.
1886: Nancledra Brass Band formed. (John Brush)
1903: Nancledra Brass Band active. (John Brush)
1907: Mr Tom Humphries, solo-cornet player in Nancledra Brass Band, returned from the Copper industry, U.S.A. Saturday. (26 December 1907 – Cornishman)
1908: Nancledra Brass Band who helped carry out an attractive programme. (9 January 1908 – Cornishman)
1927: Nancledra Band attended, and showed that they are an improving body of musicians. (7 September 1927 – Cornishman)
1932: A detachment of the D.C.L.I. (T.A.), Penzance Silver Band, Marazion Town Band, Ludgvan Branch of the British Legion, Towednack and Nancledra Band, …(26 May 1932 – Cornishman)
1941: F Pope, Nancledra Band MD (John Brush).
1941: Towednack and Zennor Platoons of the Home Guard attended the evening service, as also did the Towednack and Nancledra Brass Band, under the leadership of Mr F Pope. (25 September 1941 – Cornishman)
