1892: A procession was formed headed by parts of the Constantine and Mawnan Bands combined. (14 July 1892 – Cornishman)

1902: After the service, a procession was formed in the Church square headed the gentlemen’s committee and Mawnan Brass Band, (14 August 1902 – Cornishman)
1920: During the afternoon selections were delivered by the Mawnan Band. (22 July 1920 – West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser)
1920: Found Dead in Bed – Mr. Joseph Hosen, a single man of 19 was found dead in bed at his home at Budock Water early yesterday morning. Deceased was employed as a gardener at Ashford, near Falmouth. He was quite well when he returned from his work on the previous evening. When his mother called him yesterday morning she got no answer, and on opening the bedroom door found her son was dead. Deceased was actively associated with local affairs at Budock, being a member of the Wesleyan choir and secretary of the Band Hope. .He was also a member of the Mawnan Brass Band.
