Edmonton is a hamlet west of Wadebridge in the civil parish of St Breock

1859: Three cheers were given for the Padstow Volunteers, and as many with one cheer more, for the Queen, the Edmonton Band who kindly gave their services playing the National Anthem. (26 August 1859 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)
1862: The pleasure they experienced in listening to the excellent music of the Edmonton Brass Band. (12 September 1862 – West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser)
