Four Lanes is a village in west Cornwall approximately 3 miles south of Redruth

1856: Mr Frederick Hill for defendant. This was an action to recover a drum. It appeared that a band called the Four Lanes Band practised at Mr Reed’s public house for some years and the drum was left at his house. Roberts is gone to America … (14 March 1856 – Royal Cornwall Gazette)

1946: Instrumentalist, band trainer and conductor. A talented player of the euphonium, Mr Floyd was many years ago bandmaster of Four Lanes Brass Band. Later, he held a similar appointment with Redruth Town Band. (30 May 1946 – Cornishman)
1950: She was the widow of Mr W. Johns, bandmaster of the old Four Lanes Silver Band. (27 July 1950 – Cornishman)
