Come and learn the four harmony parts of Bro Goth Agan Tasow as sung in the Gorsedh ceremony. These tracks were commissioned by Lowender and are sung by Elizabeth Freeborn, Millie Young, Ben Sutcliffe and Daniel Woodfield and have been mixed by Jago Coleman. Below you will find the sheet music with lyrics and 5 different audio tracks. The first track has all the parts with equal volume. Then, there is a track with each part of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass, slightly louder so you can focus on it. The soprano part is the main melody so if you want to learn that head straight there. If you don’t know where your voice sits on the spectrum then have a go at each and see which one suites best.
In Western classical music tradition voices usually divide as Soprano = Higher female voice, Alto = Lower female voice, Tenor = Higher male voice, Bass = Lower male voice. We’re aware that the spectrum of human voices is much broader and nuanced then can be categorised in four sections so do take them with a pinch of salt and find the track that suites your voice best.
Happy singing!
