Polruan is a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos-by-Fowey Unknown formation date. 1868: Polruan. The arrangements were good, and everything seemed to go on harmoniously. Lanivet is approximately 2¹⁄₂ miles southwest of Bodmin Unknown formation date. 1873: The members assembled at the Court House clothed in regalia, and formed in procession. The adult portion was headed by the Charlestown Band, under the leadership of Mr J Viol and the juveniles by the Lanivet Drum

Foxhole is a village in mid-Cornwall within the parish of St Stephen-in-Brannel We do not know the year in which Foxhole Band was formed but it was certainly prior to 1886 when the players travelled to Newquay to compete in the sixth Annual County Volunteer and Independent Brass Band
