George Ball was born on the 18th of June 1896, in Australia. His father, George Charles Ball, was a musician from TOMS Tenement, St Breock, and his mother, Mary Hannah Ball (nee Spear), was from Church Farm, St Mawgan; they had been married on the 11th of October 1887
