Many of these songs were specially arranged by Harold Treloar both for the Choir and Soloists. The Choir wished to dedicate this record to Harold Treloar who has now emigrated to Canada to join his family. following 20 years as Musical Director. Harold will be remembered also as an outstanding saxophonist. and the record includes two tracks highlighting his accomplished playing and arrangements. . The Choir has a tradition of long service, as one of the Founder Members Mr. Arnold Best is still singing with the Choir. and has been since its formation in 1922. and has an outstanding record for attendance at rehearsals and concerts. The choir now numbers 66 members who are drawn from the district surrounding the village of St. Dennis, many of whom work in the China Clay Industry.
