Audio File-Turkey Rhubarb as played for the Tam Kernewek Cornish Dance Taster Project:
Note: Turkey Rhubarb is a mazurka type dance for couples and was one of the dances performed as part of the Madron Guize Dancer’s “Twelfth Tide” when they revived the custom in 1937. On the 4th January of that year it was featured on the BBC’s Western Regional Service with an introduction by A. K. Hamilton Jenkin. He had encouraged the Madron Guize Dancers following the success of the St Ives Guizers and the Hal An Tow at Helston.
