1962: Truro Singers founded.
1978: Name change to Truro Choral Society.
With a membership of about 140, Truro Choral Society is the largest choral society locally. We perform four concerts annually, in Truro Cathedral and elsewhere. The repertoire includes major choral works, some contemporary music and occasional world premieres. An unauditioned choir, the Society’s aim is to provide everyone with the opportunity to sing the best choral music. (From the Society’s website)
