Cornish variant of melody, lyrics and narrative of popular Sea Shanty noted down by Cornish folk song collector Jim Thomas from John Farr of Gwithian. It was published in the Journal of the Folk-Song Society , Dec., 1928, Vol. 8, No. 32 (Dec., 1928), pp. 99-100 and also Inglis Gundry, Canow Kernow, Federation of Old Cornwall Societies & Soundpost Publications, 1966 p.39.
