George Lloyd

George Lloyd was a Cornishman born in St Ives who became one of Cornwall’s foremost classical composers. You can read about him in Phillip Hunt’s article here.

These recordings were made in 1993 at George Lloyd’s home in London and were broadcast as a part of the “Sounds of Brass” series on the 26th December 1993 (Part 1) and the 2nd January 1994 (Part 2).

They can also be found at Kresen Kernow where they are complete with associated music.
