Cotehele Christmas Banquet music.

A suite of original Cornish folk tunes written and performed at banquets, events and feasts at Cotehele House nr St Dominic in the Tamar Valley performed over several years. Composed by Aidan B and performed by a wide range of talented performers.

The suite consisted of six or seven original works often opening with the strict tune before going off into ad-lib improvisation by the individual musicians before returning to the main tune.

This first piece “Cotehele” was the Christmas Banquet theme, played whilst guest were dining under the spectacular Christmas garland in the great hall. 

Ye old Cow was a processional folk tune, it was played to get the guests attention from around the grounds and lead them to the grand hall in a procession!
