St Columb Minor is a village on the north coast of Cornwall which has now been encroached upon by its larger neighbour Newquay

1883: St Columb Minor Brass Band, which is only yet in its early childhood, but which, nevertheless, is making marked and steady progress under its efficient teacher, added much to the pleasure of the day by discoursing in very fair style a good selection of music. 1970s: It is thought that the St Columb Minor Band instruments went to Treviglas School. (Colin Rescorla according to “Bill” Glanville)
